Many homeowners assume roof damage has to be dramatic before it deserves attention. Missing shingles, water pouring through the ceiling, or large sections of visible damage are obvious reasons to call a roofing contractor. The reality is that most expensive roof repairs begin as something much smaller.
A roof is designed as a complete system. When one small component begins to fail, the rest of the system has to work harder to keep moisture out of your home. Over time, what started as a simple repair can grow into damaged decking, insulation, drywall, flooring, and even structural framing.
